Remembering You In Silence

Dearest brother life is weary without you
nev'r did i think you'd be gone so hastily
not for a moment thought i'll be by myself
wish you nev'r left this early

Everythin' had been so gracious in your midst
now only to be a bittersweet memory
Wish you had not left me this soon
leavin' me to tread the miles without you

Those were the days of smiles
now not will it come another time
forgone are the times with you beside
now only in memories you'll live on

Yesterday was filled with the warmth of your words
making me to forget the pains and loneliness
i nev'r imagined these days to befall at hands
yet i've to live wandering forever...

Today you're so far away from me
Yet i'll not forget to remember you in my prayers
Though you are far distant in the skies
