Stuck in this world all of her own,
The child is slowly dying.
Why she’s disappearing is unknown,
Nobody sees the crying.
...

The soul behind my eyes can show,
The tears that in my heart flow.

Hidden behind this permanent frown,
...

Suicide is a horrible thing.
Death: a harsh and gruelling king.
Everything is in his control,
Strings of your life, pulled: like a doll.
...

This thing tears me apart,
Ripping straight through my heart.
It tears through my being,
Without me even seeing.

Scared

Stuck in this world all of her own,
The child is slowly dying.
Why she’s disappearing is unknown,
Nobody sees the crying.

She must hate her self very much,
To go to such an extreme.
Hating for people her body to touch,
For change she enters a dream.

Heart beating hard, chest heaving,
Thought she heard a sound.
Flood of relief to hear foot steps leaving,
Wanting never to be found.

What she needs to achieve is immense,
But so is where she started.
The laughing and jeering has made her tense,
It’s time that it departed.

The ones who know tell her she’s wrong,
But it’s too late to stop now.
She’s been trying for so very long,
To finally find a way how.

Now where she is frightens her,
Losing her very being.
She wants things back how they were,
But without anyone seeing.

The only way of this place to get out,
Is to believe what they say.
But in her mind there is no doubt,
It will not be happening today.
