Darkness Of Light

Coming out of the darkness,
I have stepped into the light,
Many a things i have got to see,
Which hitherto had been concealed from my sight.

Am I to thank or curse this sun?
Left in shreds is my misconception,
All my whining is now looked down with shame,
My life seems like a collage, asking a frame.

Deep i have mined the people’s mind,
With every elucidation, a dozen queries line,
My every step ahead, takes me behind,
It makes me wonder, “am I daft or am I wined? ”

Millions of verses have been carved,
Have been pictured in many a films,
The misery of the unprivileged,
To some, a route to fetch appreciations it seems.

You are sure to flatter the affluent’s integrity,
When they watch a film or read a poetry,
Their eyes are immotile and stands their ear,
They melt at the sight of his miserable life,
With the poor on the screen, they shed a tear.
And outside the theatre with a rickshaw puller they argue over the fare,
20 times of which on the movie they spare.

Is this the world in reality, in light?
Darker than the darkness of night.
What complications have yielded in this life of mine,
While I had come just to enjoy the sunshine.
