Dying, Crying, But Smiling

Dying, crying, but smiling

Nothing left for me
Nothing left to see
No point in living life itself,
So why live it myself?

Dying, crying, but all you see Is me smiling

I watch those around me,
Those smiles, the happiness, and love
The worlds a small place;
But mines just a small case

Just let me die
Just let me cry
But why is it
That all you see,
Is my smile?

I’ll run for miles,
To search for smiles,
To find the truth,
That has been inside,
But is forbidden,
To come outside.

Dying, crying, but still smiling.
Why do I smile
Through such pain?
Does it appear to me,
Like just a game?

I turn around,
And here the sound,
Of a gunshot in the air.
I take no notice,
I just don’t care.

Then to my notice,
A second shot,
It hits the mark,
Right on the spot.

Next thing I know,
I’m lying there,
And my last thought,
I just don’t care.

I know I’m dying,
And now I’m crying.
Now no one sees,
I’m now not smiling.
