Morgan York Poems

You gave me your hand,
When I walked all alone.
You taught me to stand,
When the ground was my home.
...

Sing me a lullaby.
Put me to bed.
The thoughts and the dreams,
Inside of my head,
...

Give me your heart,
And I’ll try not to break it.
Lend me your hand,
As I try not to take it.
...

You tell me your heart,
Has been beaten and torn.
Ripped apart, broken,
Forever forlorn.

Morgan York Biography

I was born in Annarbor, But I move around a lot as a child. When I was 6-years-old we settled down in Florida, and I've lived here that rest of my life. When we were moving around I lived in Mich, Ohio, Tenn, and Florida. When I was 13-years-old I lost both my Grandfather and my Best friend. My grandfather died of cancer and I lost my best friend to a car accident. At this time I began to notice that life was no game, that every thing I did would affect me, that everything was real. About two years ago, I moved into a house with both my mother and father. I have a younger brother named Jacob and a older brother named Robert. I don't really know what more to write so if you have any questions or comments you can reach me at the following emails. rebelvamp00@aol.com dasai_chibi_san@yahoo.com Be nice to here from you. How Can I Believe?

You gave me your hand,
When I walked all alone.
You taught me to stand,
When the ground was my home.
You brought me the light,
As my love, As my friend,
And you led me to believe,
My darkness had come to an end.

When you emptied my soul,
Into your sudden, distant heart,
I never could've imagined,
A worse pain would start.
The miracle of light,
That I'd grown to love,
Had burned my body and soul,
Into less than it was.

You gave me a world,
Of which I'd always dreamed.
But now that it's gone,
How can I believe?
