Bugs
I turn the light on to check where the bugs are,
i squash them once I squash them twice,
i turned the night into a little competition,
squashing bugs is my only ambition.
I search them in corners and under my bed,
i searched them outside, and in my head.
Some of them were glowing, very nice indeed,
while the others were crawling, very ugly breed.
I found them in my food and in my hair,
I try not to panic but I fall in despair.
Some of them are chewing, some are biting hard,
Some are just tattooing my name in this graveyard.
At night i turn the light on because i was too scared to sleep,
i searched for them all night like some kind of creep.
Tomorrow i would turn the day into a fun little game,
the exterminator, they said, is my new nickname.
The bugs are there to get me when i die all alone,
they will chew through my flesh, they will chew through my bone.
I will lie here in my grave wondering what the hell went wrong,
and up there on my tombstone there will be this little song.
