An Eye-Catching Glimpse Of My Homeland Assam

Our land is abundant
Not only in its enchanting beauty
Which dazzles everyone effortlessly
Who pays a visit to this Magical Land
But, the land is even super-abundant
In its natural resources


It also has two world heritage sites
The Kaziranga National Park and The Manas National Park
It also has Majuli
Often claimed to be
The world's largest river island

Assam is also known for our
Unique art and craftwork
Our handicrafts
Our silk industry
Which are world-famous
Bihu festival is mostly adored
By the Assamese people
And this celebration can never be
Separated from our bloodstream

Since time immemorial
Our Assamese culture
Has insisted the people all over the world
To cogitate
It has compelled everyone
To fantacize with her
Unrivalled legends and enigma

Our land is also blessed
With many holy places
Which I surely feel
Needs no mention
As these are supremely renowned

It possesses an enriching
Literature, culture and history
Which is a great source of inspiration
For people of diverse cultures

It has obliged the people
All over the world
To simply admire its Divine Aura
Its Heavenly Soil
Its Holy Water
Its mighty river Brahmaputra-the river well known for His charming width

Even today
Our golden past
Can never fade away
With the tides of time
From the apprehension of mine

Well the glory of Assam
Cannot be expressed by a few words
Of my humble creation
As there remains a lot to express
My homeland to you
The land who owes me.
And I am sure all of you
Will never
Let me down in this.
