Give Me A Rose

The beautiful rose, given in love I suppose,
bright re
d petals soft and red.
Delicately lay on the stem just like God created said.
Morning dew drop falling on the petals.
standing tall in a silver vase of silver metal.
The American Rose....
The American beauty I suppose.
Give me a rose for a special day.
Give me a gift of love also I pray.
They remind me of the gold sunny shine day.
Don't give me daisys don't give me a book just give me a rose
we'll take a second look. Thank you God for flowers on my rainy rainy days. Natures way of saying God wants you to have a good day.

Bouquet of flowers to say I love in a special way.
Share them with a friend or two

pray when there is nothing left to do.
Yellow roses are nice.
The yellow rose of Texas our American tradition.
not on my clothes, not in our grass, not in the church.
but something I saw in a book.
God bless the U.S.A. and God bless our state Texas
Glory be, I have eyes to see.
Pray for me.
Miracle working power let God's grace be.
Give me love, give me friends, give me health,
but don't take my happiness and my rose away
from me. Roses pass and die away. my life is
here and I want to live and let it stay.
