The Rules Of Nature

Through the woods, I walk
Animals move away in fright.
The cunning fox, Lower his ears,
The wise Owl hoots at my sight.

I heard, once, a noise louder than mine.
Went I, to the direction, of that Peculiar noise.
Was there, another one
In the woods, which I alone ruled.

I spied every movement and found,
He was more ferocious.
With his paws and claws,
He tore down every bit of flesh I had,
On the day we met face to face.

The wounds I had, made me quit.
I dragged myself,
into the lonely river side
had a sip and surrendered to death.

Stood there he, the triumphant one,
The new ruler of the woods.
Through the wood he walked,
With his head up,
Ambushing creatures,
which came his way.
