Naked I was
In a dark cold alley
No light to guide my way
Fear filled my heart
I know not where to go or turn to
Never felt so scared before in my life
The signs I followed all failed me
The ones I neglected all beckoned back at me

What is this fear

Fear of the future?
Fear of the unknown?
Is it fear of the untold?
Fear....Fear...Fear...
Memories haunt me
The past fights me
It throws me down and beat my naked battered body
Tears...almost drained yet, still finds its way down my face
Weeping profusely..bleeding..wanting to give up
It feels so much better to lie down here and give in

Suddenly!
I see a light
A bright light
Far away
'Too weak to crawl'I said through my weak smile
Almost closing my eyes
But the light calls softly
It comforts..
Then i find strength
Strength long gone held me up
I didnt crawl-No-I stood
I stood and then i picked my feet slowly, step by step
Then faster-Yes-I walked faster
I hear footsteps behind me
Then I looked back
The full glare of all my fears out to get me
Then i find more strength and i ran fast
Towards the light

They tried to stop me
I feel their claws reach deep into me
Yet i shunned off and still ran
Faster!
As much as my weary body could muster
Then they got closer, closer and closer
I felt hot movement on my face
My tears

I suddenly see your outstretched hands
And then i tried to reach
I fell
They grabbed my legs and and with all of my last strength
I tried reaching
I remembered your name and screamed it out

And suddenly you catch me
You wrapped your arms around my naked body
And carried me covering my nakedness
With yourself, your cloth
I said with a weak voice
'Don't, i will mess up your pretty cloth'
You smiled and wrapped me more
I stole a glance behind as u walked away
Yes you walked.that got me thinking
You should be running
And i didnt see the fears anymore behind you
They were gone
I knew
It was for good
I felt you wipe my tears
Put healing balm on my wounds
I felt strength renewed
I was finally home
