Fallen

What did I do wrong?
Did I require too much from you?
Was my love insufficient for your needs? Or
Was I just a nuisance to you?
It seems I took the path to darkness, that slowly polluted my soul to believe love is just a trick.
A trick to distract me from my purpose in life.
A purpose I can no longer fulfill.
I fell for you,
But you were not there to catch me.
And I was shattered into a million pieces that hurt anyone who try to pick them up.
I am now a Zombie with no feelings to bear,
But the desire to return to the ground from which I came.
And rise from my ashes, then experience love for the precious gift it is.
