Nebish Benson Poems

I discern a long road to the sky
I saw it for three days lie
Black crows flew up and cry
Creating a soulless milieu
...

Tall trees touching the sky
Red waves roaring high
Mournful melodies making me sigh
Birds sang as the flute chant
...

I am green and exact
Whatever come under me are sheltered
Engulfed by love and shade
I am not rude, but kind
...

Silence Of Demise

I discern a long road to the sky
I saw it for three days lie
Black crows flew up and cry
Creating a soulless milieu
My eyes watched crinkled suspicion on every forehead dry
Fifth day i found grieving wept on my mother’s cheeks
Sorrow hung in the walls of my home
I was beneath the sea craving for breath
Tears of my grandmother dropped on the tome
People arrived like wreaths in rest
I heard the voice of melancholy flowed in high
Chime of ambulance approached from far
Sound of prayer rose in blue
The nature stood still when they lowered the coffin into the ground
My tears ran to the white cloth wrapped around him
I kissed him saying I love you and good bye
