A benevolent presence smothered in arms

The pane you are gazing through will soon crack
Leaving a picture of empty cardboard
An expression now seldom looking back
Upon visiting the terminal ward

And so you sit there ever stationery
Vegetating in your room
Make plans, go out and have fun
You have so many years to bloom
