Nicholas Mulago Poems

You met me between a rock
And your whisper rippled solace in bulk
When my name sounded like a dirge
You alone made my fragments converge
...

Don't you ever have a second thought
When you know we both mean a lot
See me reach for the clouds
When your smile runs me short of words
...

When a rose reigns this day,
I know we'll rise and the love will stay.
Beams now glitter and glimmer so red
When my heart without you is dead.
...

Essentially I dream normally
I own not any of my own
I tussle in fries and breath verily
And yes, In your company I'm forlorn
...

And your feet flipped and the mad me got so creative
Trailing my eyes up flopped me the captive
Feel this in my perspective
You know its harder to admit that I'm the one on stove.

The Unforgotten

You met me between a rock
And your whisper rippled solace in bulk
When my name sounded like a dirge
You alone made my fragments converge

My mind raced away from me
In our first kiss I drowned to never see
You raised me from the dead me
And I sprang up from the armor still

When my world quivered in strangeness
Yes I couldn't still in the thrill
I saw this a legitimate madness
For you are my will to live still

The ambience of summer reigns my world now
Horizons are visible I'm longsighted somehow
And just before my clock ticks its last
I'll always be here to love you with might.
