A graceful motion is exposed
From a pen that rolls

Across the page it's mission unfolds
...

They would sit and stair
As clouds of steam filled the air
Fish head soup brewed in there
...

A graceful motion is exposed
From a pen that rolls

Across the page it's mission unfolds
...

Some call home a place of bricks from clay
Others mark dates on calendars each day

My cousin John traveled the bush his way
...

There's a man here
With an umbrella
Waiting to see
...

That day George Orwell wrote about
Back then now is here

When neighbor, friend or stranger
...

There is a world
We do not see

It passes by
...

Christmas time
Brings back to mind

All those memories
...

'Its ok i got this said he'
As he stooped over to fasten in the pin
In his nefarious mind he did no such thing
No pin was set on his trailer by he
...

A graceful motion is exposed
From a pen that rolls

Across the page it's mission unfolds
...

To Write

A graceful motion is exposed
From a pen that rolls

Across the page it's mission unfolds
This thought transference

From mind to paper
A sprinkling of thoughts

Like salty pepper
Were pen and paper get together

Like visions of a sailing ship upon the sea
Or steam locomotive running free

Magical motion gifted from history
Technology cannot replace
This parchment embrace

Each word put down
Without a sound

A ghostly mission
Like the paws of a great bear
Who wonders silently into thin air

Memory driven fingers exposing life
Venting out every strive

Like a wave upon the sea
Fond memories roll back to me

Happy times shared by you and me
Like a story book told
From days of old
