The Snoopy Human

I see the world, with only two balls
I see people, places, the fancy stalls.
I see the anger, the prejudice, the pride,
But I don’t know, what hidden does reside.

I see the seeable, only that much,
There are things a few, the ones I can touch.
I speak the speakable, words a few,
I roam the places, just some old and new.

But lying on my bed alone, I wonder sometimes,
Are there some hidden, inaudible wind chimes?
Can I see only a fraction of his creations?
Or is it all we've got, a simple mensuration?

Aren't there ghosts, dancing around me?
Aren't there angels, spreading blessings and beauty?
Aren't there voices, those inaudible?
And flying saucers, a work so applaudable?

Is there God somewhere, really around?
Or to this belief, our acceptance is bound?
Is there heaven up above, high somewhere?
Or is it yet another creation of the human software?

Is there an end to the earth, I ask.
But beware! Excogitating that is a herculean task!
Is there hell at some place, down somewhere?
Or is it simply the earth’s another layer?

Mysteries follow, wherever I walk,
Questions tease me, like a stubborn roadblock.
What is that power, which drives us all,
Induced at birth, I can’t even recall.

Does there exist supernatural, or an unseen grain?
Or is it just a grotesque imagination of the piteous brain?
Do there really exist love and hate?
Or are we attached ‘coz of a gravitational state?

The enigma of life and death, will eternally wander,
And I suppose, it’s useless to ponder.
‘Coz the earth is our mother, our fabricator, our seed,
And stripping her naked, is a shameless deed.

I bow and accept, that I am a being selectively made,
And life to me is a gift, not a good of trade.
Five senses, that’s all I possess,
And I am a mere hapless being, I obediently confess.
