In the shadows of the night,
It beats as i hold on tight.
It creeps like a cricket in my sight,
Wishing that i might;

Unreasonable mischief
Shattering my night sleep
Thinking me a fool
Who day dreams of mending thing.

Unendurable is seems
Doom it means
Too hard to believe
Never could it be retrieved.

Lessons i may learn
Mercies i may get
Letting it go
