NOSTALGIA
I Went Home And Searched
But I Found No Grey Hairs
I Looked In The Back-yard
...

ONCE IN A YEAR
I Am Moved By A Thousand Voices.
I Shake To The Stomp Of A Hundred Feet.
I Love The Feel

NOSTALGIA
I Went Home And Searched
But I Found No Grey Hairs
I Looked In The Back-yard
But They Have Thrown Away The Old Ways
And The Yam Barns Have Disappeard
I Waited For Days
But The Towncrier Did Not Come
I Looked Above The Fire-Place
But The Maize Were All Gone
The Road To The Stream Have All Been Sold
The Tracks To The Farm Have Not Been Cleared
I Yearned For The Sound Of My Roots
All I Heard Was The Cars And Its Hoots
The Sweet Songs Of The Birds
Have All Been Drowned
By The Noise Of The Jets.
How I Miss To Hear,
The Voice Of The Children,
As They Play With The Earth
And How I Used To Wake,
To The Sound Of The Train.
