Open Invitation To The Witch
Sinking back into my armchair,
The sun setting along.
In the breeze of the moment,
I see a girl.
The thoughts drifting,
And flashing by,
I feel it,
A captivating figure of emotions
There before me, a witch.
Before my sight, she stands.
I have trod, step by step,
In the nights of my infatuations
Along the edges of the galaxies.
But no star outshines her sparkling eyes.
On my heart, a smile is plastered.
Lights dim,
The figure forms a dark shadow.
Fading into the deepening night.
The horizon now blur.
I long for the tint once more,
I thirst for the figure all night.
So, at the herald of the dawn,
I'll invite her.
I'll open my doors to her gaze.
My windows her arrival shall await,
A mark, a sign, of an open invitation.
An open invitation to the witch.
