Crying Inside

We see them in everyday life, Oh! what beautiful SMILES
But deep down inside what hideous biles
They have to show us that they are strong
Not wanting to make it oblivious, that things are wrong
WHY? WHY? WHY?
They ask themselves, what mistakes have I made along the way
They search high and low- - from their head down to their toes to find where they have sway.

Besides being shattered, they batter themselves so much, wanting to blame
But where do they lay it? Oh what a shame
They go as far back to their tender age, ABUSED, being misguided, needing that LOVE and attention, just to find out that they were USED.

As the years roll by they toil and toil to fill that void But in the end what have they achieved? ? ? ? Oh we are paranoid Tormented and torn, the deep scars they cover from morn til night What do they do? Hiding in the darkness of their own misery and pretending that everything is alright. Oh My! Oh My! It hurts, it hurts the very core of their souls How do they find the strength, the energy to fight? ? It's the same ole, same ole, no one to console

HELP! ! ! HELP her please, before it's to late No one knows her fate A Dream! A Dream she must be in, this Life seems like a nightmare Will someone please, please awaken her, so that she can wipe away her tear She's awake! She's awake! She has come to realization That this life she's living- - don't be mistaken it's no dream or imagination. Its for real.
