Pishi Shiraz Biography

I write mostly free-verse poems, and occasionally octaves or quatrains. I taught myself to write poems and fell in love with the art as soon as I set a pencil to paper. My personal diary is not a recording of my life, but my feelings broke up into poems. I enjoy reading, dancing, playing piano, watching k-dramas (#itaewonclass) , listening to Stray Kids, PENTAGON, and Red Velvet while I write, and of course, writing poems. I come from Iran but was born in Washington State, moving to California later in my life. I write during quiet moments or while listening to audio books and music.
