PARTHA PRATIM DAS Biography

Partha Pratim Das is a poet, cultural critic and translator from Calcutta. He is the author of 'A Tailorbird-Poetry of Love'. His poems were first published by New Asian Writing Community and the International Poetry Festival, Guntur in the anthology, The Enchanted World(India: 2013) . His poems were selected for the monthly issues of the Contemporary Poetry Digest(2015,2016,2017) . Three of his poems, ‘Fie’ and ‘Let There be No Country’, ‘Towards the Illusion’ were selected in the Top Hundred Poems of the Year,2015,2016 and 2017,2018 by Poetry First Publishing, International (Ed. Ann-Marie Montegomery: 2016) . In 2015 ‘My Love Ajar’ was chosen by Hollywood Hits Music Studios and again the poem, ‘Fie’ made its place in From the Heart (Valentine’s Day Book Release,2016,2018) . 'Towards the Illusion' was selected for the prestigious Elite Writers Status Award,2016 (2016) which featured that poem. Presently he is the Guest Lecturer of English at Dumdum Motijheel College, Kolkata.)
