I Just Want One Good Day.

Nothing’s changed, I can’t get away,
Lost in this darkness, I fear I’ll stay.
Emptiness is all I feel, wish there was something I could do
But people don’t change, I’m no different.
I feel all alone with no place to go,
Nothing’s changed I can’t get away
All alone on this empty road.
Used to hide the pain line by line
Time doesn’t help
Nothing’s changed
I just delay the inevitable try and find a reason to keep walking, but I can’t
It’s like being thrown into the ocean with no paddle at all
I’m just drifting around getting crushed by waves,
No real friends ever in my life, how to you expect me to be alright,
Turned my back to god because I don’t deserve his love, I’m a sinner forever alone
Walk on me all you want, maybe the pain will help me know I’m alive
Emotional pain is something for sure, burn myself so I feel something different,
Nothing’s changed, I’m still me, and no one changes
Expected the worst out of everybody so I won’t be disappointed and I’m always right.
I wish I could find a way
Living with it day by day
Memories won't go away
Drugs helps to sway
Artificial happiness will only last a day
Many feelings of dismay
But they do fail to decay
I just want one good day.
