And took identities that were good enough

When I think to say
How it was supposed to be

Goatee beards look good
Very sophisticated as they should
So sculpting on the face
Carefully trimmed so in place

The koala did it I heard him say
He left his fingerprints at the scene that day
And was underhanded in what he did
The case is broken that's why he hid

Hot sun shining down
Cloud passes in front of it
Cooling soothing now.

And it drew me on in the way to go

It led on with the voice as haunting
