No mother would want her child to see her tears
But circumstances have a way of breaking a mother down to her tears
Up all day hustling for something to eat
A loaf of bread and tea I would find
...
At times you would think i`am dead
No heart beat just pure blood flow
Oh Lord what could it be, 'I think'
Only to find he is miles away
...
Taking it one step @ a time

I am a 21 year old motswana lady using my poems to tell my story through life)
Tears Of A Mother
No mother would want her child to see her tears
But circumstances have a way of breaking a mother down to her tears
Up all day hustling for something to eat
A loaf of bread and tea I would find
Oh Lord why am I suffering, ''wondering''
Yet my siblings are shinning and smilling
Why is life so unfair?
Why am I and my daughter treated like outcasts?
Is it because her father left me?
Oh Lord do you see my pain!
Hear my cry Lord and land me a job
So that me and my daughter have a better life
Life where our grumbling stomach is not the only music we hear
But let us enjoy the sound of singing birds
The Lord heard my cry
Me and my daughter are not starving but feasting
Ain no day we go by without a meal
And my daughter does not see my tears anymore
Let her daughter not see her tears too
