Perry Sophocleous Poems

I walk alone for fear of exposure.
Though I am silently searching for her over and over.
I am still a Nomad, a heartless organ doner.
Finding her will send me to the white cliffs of Dover.
...

To my heart I'm a prisoner, to my mind I'm a slave
But with no other way to function and no other way to breath
Heartache and an early grave is all I shall concede.
But on this journey I grow stronger, with nothing left to bleed

Blinding conscious thought
You think you will win
Covering all bases
Yet this does not change a thing
...

To my unforeseen destruction, I leave for a new
An exciting new life for me, but not for us two
Two years of walking, I have gained no ground
My retraceable steps, impossible to be found

Pride will not let me avoid it
Fear will not let me face it
Lost in limbo trying to find myself
A once forgotten memory in a distant past of mine

So close, yet so far
Yet distant is what we are,
I am sinking in quick sand,
With no one to extend their hand,

An Ideological maniac
With thy constant threat of end
Careful in his approach
He counts each second spent

Will stunt your growth and thinking,
Sometimes people say things,
But say them with out meaning,

And so they continue to journey through the fire,
Unknowingly walking toward the land of ice,
The sand and sea creates a whirlwind of love that spreads throughout the land,
An earthquake disfigures the ocean bed setting hate free once and for all,

I Walk Alone

I walk alone for fear of exposure.
Though I am silently searching for her over and over.
I am still a Nomad, a heartless organ doner.
Finding her will send me to the white cliffs of Dover.
She may as well jump with me because my love will deem her life over.
I can run marathons, climb mountains, for others I'm a super nova.
But for myself I am weak and its only I I cannot conquer.
I am trying to fight it and permit my hearts full disclosure.

But my knife continues to infiltrate deeper and closer,
Into my heart that when find her I know will one day loath her
Maybe one day she'll follow my trail of blood holding a four leaf clover
If she is brave enough to walk that way, my respect she shall have and my life I shall owe her.
