A Goodnight Sleep And A Meal On A Key

A homeless man stops me,
Asks for my name,
How my day was going,
And if I have any spare money.

I apologize, as I’m a student,
All i had to offer was my time,
But his stomach wasn’t satisfied.

Later that day, there I am with cocaine on a key,
Wasting money and feeling guilty.
