A new season of felicity
Infected unjustly, and unseasonably
With a deathly… feint.

Some thunderous reminiscence
Of death within life
Reflected… upon a mourning pond.

Plumbing all depths, safely
From the beams of a nullifidian
Then glimpsing…some meaning

One eye is cast…briefly…skywards
With no finality
Until…the glimpse is lost.
