I am trapped in an invisible jail cell
surrounded from all angles by metal bars
incapable of escaping
for years this prison I have created for myself
...

Play with my emotions
and It will all come back to you
neglect me when I need you most
but one day you'll need me too
...

Circumstances in life try to steal away my joy,
they try to crush my hopes and dreams and everything else in between
I feel as though I have to strain to smile,
I can't breathe...The problems that I face, they suffocate me
...

All is the same
nothing changes
the past was once the present
the present was once the future
...

There is no greater harmony
than the vibe that exists between you and me
It's chemistry
Like the birds and the bees
...

You are what I've been searching for my entire life
the one person who turns all my wrongs into right
and I just could resist you, even if I used all of my might
So I must give into what my heart feels, because there's no use to fight
...

I am so confused...yet I have it all figured out
Why am I searching...when I've long found what I've been searching for
My eyes appear open...yet my mind is not awake
I have dreams... while I'm not sleeping
...

There is no tomorrow
There is only today
There only exists this moment;
no past or future
...

My soul is shattered...
as a vessel broken into fragments
I have fallen apart without you
My mind does not want to contemplate the longing inside of me
...

As the eve of a new day approaches
the light of noon day wastes away
leaving behind a faint, yet florescent scene
the clouds begin to sift away beneath the western skies
