When the cold north wind blew
I still gave you hope
soon we will
walk in the cherry blossom grove
...
Beloved stars
my beacon
on the shores of eternity
you glitter and sparkle
...
Inner peace gives you answers
to unresolved questions
that you thought
needed to be answered
...
The higher the expectations
the higher the hurdles
over which happiness must jump
...
We know little of wisdom
and those who could speak of it
are wise enough to remain silent
...
So hurry, Selene
the sun has already risen
...
What's the point
of always trying
to please everyone else
but not yourself?
...
Don't feel inadequate
just because you don't measure up
to those who are never satisfied
...
Im working on a collection of poems here; Im trying to use poetry to better understand and bring to life ancient practical philosophy.)
Never Stop Being Amazed
When you
stop marveling
the stars
stop twinkling
The higher the expectations, the higher the hurdles, over which happiness must jump.
When you stop marveling, the stars stop twinkling
It's pointless to be constantly worried just because you want to live a worry-free life someday
An annoyance is an opportunity to practice serenity
First you push yourself to succeed and then success pushes you to stay successful
Even bad days leave room for interpretation
If everything is important to you, then nothing is important
We know little of wisdom, and those who could speak of it, are wise enough to remain silent
