All Of The Pieces

I'm sitting here, on the balcony
the balcony where everything
was full of light a moment ago;

and in the wink of an eye
the sky turned dark,
all the clouds grouped in front
of the the sun

the balcony was colorful and filled
with happiness;
and here i sit on the balcony.

The balcony that turn monochrome,
in a matter of seconds,
the walls started to crumble and crack,
the baluster is starting to rust,
the roof is starting to cave in
and leak.

Slowly the bricks are falling in front of me,
everything is falling in, it's like
the Earth, is slowly
swallowing me whole,
I'm trying to swim, but how can
you swim in sand?
Slowly the rain starts falling,
the rough sand is turning into
thick dark mud.

It's getting harder and harder,
for me to keep my head up,
I'm losing my breath,
it's hard to feel any part of my body.

All the warmth of my body is leaving,
I'm turning cold.

My heart has stopped, it shattered into
a million pieces;
how can I fix something, when I can't
even see all the pieces?
