sooner or later
we'll have to part
it's now or never
for this pained heart

few months to go
the end is near
shall i let you know
shall i let you hear

of course i won't
i'll hide it til the end
to spill please don't
i must pretend

what's the use
if i were to tell
if i would choose
to ring the bell

for if i tell you now
it's already too late
will you tell me how
to change one's fate

all will be gone
in just a short while
all the tears and fun
the pains and smile

so if i would show
thisfeeling inside
it can never grow
so i should just hide

in less than a year
we'll wave goodbye
the moment i fear
the moment i'll cry

though i'm really sorry
i still won't tell you
just please let me be
i can't say what's true

can you not feel?
i love you so
but what's real
you can never know

can you not see?
