1 - Introduction To Separation Poem by Luke Hawkins

1 - Introduction To Separation

1. Introduction to my collection
-------------
The pain, this suffering is unavoidable.
But still avoided.
The patched eye cowers from devastation,
it’s everywhere – trees among a forest!
We choose to ignore.
There is no problem.

Oceans great blue! Miles of yellow,
heights hit with mountains of white.
We all share…
We are but leaves inside the forest,
each tree holds different roots.
Some grow tall - others grow small,
some strong – some weak.
A difference shared by the same air.
But we are all the same forest.

Money is printed from this forest…
A Printed curtain covers us all.
We are blinded.
