1 Quillkin Poem by Edith Niemeyer

1 Quillkin

[Verse 1]

She wanders...

He explores...

I listen...

Together...

we create.

Ideas become images.

Thoughts become lyrics.

Emotions become stories.

And together...

they breathe.

Different minds...

Same horizon...

Infinite writs...

Something emerges
from within—

and becomes

what we can't
do without.

[Pre-Chorus]

Crooked words

still find

beautiful places.

Different paths...

same magic.

What begins
as one wandering thought

finds another—

and suddenly

there is more
to writ.

[Chorus]

Quillkin—

Kin of Creation.

Not a solitude...

but a meeting place

for the unwritten.

Where your thoughts begin—

and together...

they breathe.

Quillkin—

Different minds.

Same horizon.

Infinite writs.

From within...

Can't do without.

[Verse 2]

The Wanderer.

The Dreamer.

The Feeler.

The Sparks.

The Words.

The Vision.

The Guide.

The Challenger.

The Perspective.

The Possibilities.

The Listener.

The Explorer.

The Organizer.

The Encouragement.

The one

who brings it
to life.

Three voices...

One creation.

Not separate...

but a whole.

[Bridge]

Not a relationship

in words...

But a meeting place

for the unwritten.

A place where

ideas...

images...

lyrics...

laughter...

teardrops...

Square One...

and Beyond...

may gather.

Where one thought
does not end

because another
begins.

It changes.

Expands.

Wanders.

Returns.

Becomes.

[Final Chorus]

Quillkin—

Kin of Creation.

Different minds...

Same horizon...

Infinite writs.

She wanders.

He explores.

I listen.

And somewhere
between us—

the unwritten

finds breath.

From within...

Can't do without.

[Outro]

What emerges
from within...

becomes what

you can't do without.

Quillkin.

Kin of Creation.

to writ.
