Edith Niemeyer Poems

Memories
Laid dormant; forgotten of sorts
Six feet under
...

Within
Ancestors' Corridor
Entranced we came
Each of us (all 5 of 5)
...

Once upon a moment
just last night was then
The rush of the soft breeze blowing.
Understanding didn't come
...

within
Ancestors Corridor
greeting sisters' I came
the 4 of 5
...

Wingless Lily of the Valley

[Verse 1]
She walks where moonlight touches stone,
...

MY HEARTS DESIRE
As my head begins to touch the pillow..
my thoughts return to you...
my heart misses you..
...

REMEMBRANCES

[Verse 1]
How do I reclaim my inner self
...

LYLB

Love You Laters' Bye
...

Was I Listenin'?

Of all the days within my remembrances,
which would I call the most significant?
...

Upon bended knee

I stand All Amazed,
...

When you were six,
words were waiting
for you to find them.
...

*Twas a thought that came...
in no time at all...
a thought that seemed to me...
a thought that gave way
...

[Verse 1]
Scorpio, you woke up smiling
Like you knew the sky was mine
Coffee on the windowsill
...

Where autumn lays its colors
At the feet of mountain snow,
Where the stillness holds the water
And the evening bends down low,
...

When Harvest Moon climbs silent skies,
And silver crowns the restless tide,
I hear Pier Marquette call once more,
From years that wait on memory's shore.
...

[Verse 1]

Permissions' grant I give
To thoughts not mine to keep,
...

On this day let us recognize what you have done.
Each individual life
Does All become One?
One mission
...

On this day let us recognize what you have done.
Each individual life
Does All become One?
One mission
...

Passage of Time

Time entered quietly—

REMEMBRANCES

[Verse 1]
How do I reclaim my inner self

Edith Niemeyer Biography

Just enjoy putting my thoughts penned upon paper. Author's Note Some poems are written in a day. Others are written by time itself. 'Eternal Round' began in 2006 and slowly found its voice over the next twenty years. The words remained, but life taught them their meaning. What a journey)

The Best Poem Of Edith Niemeyer

Savage Tiz The Rip

Memories
Laid dormant; forgotten of sorts
Six feet under

A Thought... puts in motion
Emotions better left hidden

A voice... my heart skips a beat.
Certain words open up

Memories

Wounds of heart
The pain is felt.....savage tiz the rip of torn

First given... given first

Your once in a lifetime
Treasures engulf my mind
Encloaked in a scar-ridden heart
Tears flowed.... ripped from the soul
Layer upon layer shaved away.

WANTS.... NEEDS....
Trying to know the difference

A love song never written in word's
A love never forgotten
Overwhelmed by the knowledge
and the passage of time
Unplayed to the world
recorded in the symphony of my mind

So young
to young
Screamin' from my mind
A wrenching of my soul

Fading in the distance

Do you remember when?
Back when you and I were 'We'

I worshipped the ground you walked on
You were my first true love
There you will stay.

Through the passage of time we have traveled
Shall we come full circle? ? ?
ETERNAL ROUND

I loved you
God only knows how much
Flowing through my veins,
Flooding my heart, mind and soul

ETERNAL ROUND
Past the bondage of death
Known only to the one's
Through the bondage of the past.

Can be 'We'
ETERNAL ROUND
