1..Repeat (Of Mistakes) Poem by Casual Diamond

1..Repeat (Of Mistakes)

I grow tiresome.

New sights to seek
To pleasure one's soul
Another? That's yet to speak
Repeat. Of acts... but does
Its own way. Stolen.
Enlighten today, only.

Oh, gentle Lady.

Maybe fate's too cruel
An outcome too bleak?
Say what you will and stand
By it. But such wishes remain
To be fulfilled. A word with you;
Take aim (but no pain, please)
Arrow sent, anyway
To all's dismay

A candle will only burn so long
[the brightness determined by the fuel]
Before being extinguished
To rekindle is not an option.
