100 Miles 1,000 Tears Poem by Cameron Brooks

100 Miles 1,000 Tears

Its hard you know?
Trying to hold myself together.
As i walk this broken sidewalk
Each crack conceals a memory of you.

You did this to me...You put me here
Your laugh...Your touch...Your smile..
All written in chalk.
How could you be so thoughtless..to leave me here alone

I fall to my knee's and weep..All for you! ! !
Slowly these tears wash away my memory of you.
Although the lines begin to go
The cracks on this sidewalk continue to Grow
