14-15 Poem by Ella Stone

14-15

Rating: 4.5

I have been set fire
They scorched out all desire
They burn my soul and rewrite my life
But I found some water and put out these knives
The scorch marks run deep but I'll be okay
For I will concour my wounds and my smoke will rise up one day

I have been torchured and drowned left in the gutter
But soul is not with me it left with a flutter
It is high in the clouds gone far away
Searching for my triumphance that will come back to play

I have been beat up, mangled and seen better days
But oh those days went up with a blaze
They burned brighter than any scar I obtained
In my next life no one will be able to stop me reign
I don't believe in heaven but if I did
I would be better than any other kid
