Following the audience into the seats
Lights off
Adverts stop
The screen becomes dark and silent…

And still dark and silent?
Five minutes, ten minutes,
I look around
People seem absorbed into the movie
Eyes bewildered
Mouth open
But all that appears to me is just a dead screen
