19 And Nieve Poem by Joseph Freitas

19 And Nieve

It was warm under the moonlight
I remember watching the sun rise coming from the east
We've been up all night
didnt matter, right?
cause it was you and me
I just wanted to say sorry,
19 and nieve
Love was to hard to receive,
Mentally retained and now im drained
but ive heard youve changed,
that makes two, now I look at you
tryin' to show you that too
Life reminds me of the only
regret, thats stress
Words running through my head,
cant speak so I jot them down with my pen.
When I see her, all I do is smile,
Stupid me, still looking like a child,
she found another friend,
sayin its to late, hard to think
anger pent up but I blend,
into society like it dont bother me
shes happy! thats all i could think,
until she said she still loved me.
She confused my brain,
something this 'Big boy' couldnt retain,
anger turns to lust
its something you cant explain,
I want her more then ever
write her a letter, to explain my feelings
images in my brain reeling,
feel like im trapped in a cage,
but its just words on a page.
Love is like pain,
From a Beautiful knife
Cause while she is living life,
Im sittin’ tight
Praying that she brings back the moonlight
