2 beating hearts, can you hear the sound
you can hear them more if your ear is to the ground,
if one heart stops the other goes on
but the sound you here is that of one that longs,
2 beating hearts at the same time and the same way
they do this together forever every day,
what will happen if the their beats become erratic
will they fall apart, will one become an addict,
2 beating hearts they are never out of sync
even when that one stops to take a drink,
2 beating hearts one big one small
if one slips the other catches the fall,
together they are one and will never fail
they will last forever as they set sail....
