A Prayer For My Daughter: Poem by DAVID werts

A Prayer For My Daughter:

dear god how can this be?
your taking my young daughter from me,

she is so young and full of life,
why make her suffer it to me isn't right,

she has been threw so much this much is true,
I preying and I'm on my knees to you,

to see her hurt and cry in pain,
it's hurt in me just the same,

to see her try to understand whats going on,
it's her candle that's burning strong,

i hate to see her never getting to play,
its like a kid board on a rainy day,

she lays in a hospital bed fed with a tube,
I want this to be over not trying to be rude,

either heal her and let her live,
or take her and watch over her in heaven guess I give,

I don't want her to go but if she must,
let her go without much of a fuss,

your right that she's your child too,
thanks for letting us have her now its up to you....
