My generation is emotionally warped
Not such beyond the advanced comprehension of our elders,
but enough so we tear ourselves apart with the irony
Our parents are upsetti (vomit on my sweater already, mom) spaghetti
Cos the internet ruined us, apparently
We've grown up hand in hand with icebergs and meme formats
And the 'better days' of when Youtube didn't have un-skippable double ads
Have all been left behind
POV: your nostalgic for the good old days
Our coveted nicheness, our uniquities and unpleasantries
The tree that is us has branched and curled so far and intricately
We don't know where the roots are anymore
Thas why im so getto
And the sheer (in) sensitivity
The amount of stanning and banning, cancelling and calling out, stealing and tracing
Let's not forget our darling NTFs, and how they damage the environment
Twitter and Reddit are the cause of all problems
Safe to say, we're past our prime
