24 Hours Poem by Nicholas Peter

24 Hours

The sun goddesses,
fuel their halogen lamp,
fanning the flames,
giving a kingdom to the day.

The moon gods,
encompass the night,
working without sleep,
in the ebony sky,
kissing the chilled evening.
