It’s been 3 years
I’m surprised I made it this long
I thought all life would cease to exist
I miss you so much and can’t get you off my mind
It’s been 3 years
I’ve regained my faith
I’ve taken back my life
some of my friends have helped me through
I think I might be able to do this
it’s been 3 years
since I’ve smelled your perfume
since I last told you I loved you
since I received my last hug
it’s been 3 years
I still wish for one last hug
I still wish to see your beautiful smile once again
I still cry alone in my room
it’s only been 3 years
I’m afraid of what the future will bring
I’m afraid how hard it will be to remember
I’m afraid I might forget
