Most people say the Edge is the advantage
For me the Edge is.
Literally the EDGE.
The step before the end,
Right before the jump,
the drop,
the plumit into endless,
the thousand feet of darkness
right before sudden death.
SPLAT
It’s all you hear.
Now a thousand feet lower than I already was,
there I am a bloody mess.
Lying there as lifeless as a virus frozen to obsolete.
Just like that virus there I am
No longer inflicting damage upon the so justified innocents of the world.
No longer a pester like a peasant begging on the streets,
No longer able to hurt that which it depended on to live and have meaning.



So now I stand at the edge
Waiting,
Deciding,
What should I do?
Jump!
No! ! ! Wait!
Back up and Think
Never mind. Never did it before why start now.
So I jump.
I'm Falling

As I fall I think.
Before you die doesn’t your life flash before your eyes.
Isn’t it like the one last attempt of the brain to make you want to stay alive?
Well sorry I’m as blank as space.
My own body doesn’t even want to make that attempt.
I don’t blame it.
Finally
There it is
I see it
SPLAT
