45 Words Poem by Randy Briggs

45 Words

Broken clouds scattered
across the sky
like shattered glass.

Trees fornicating
with the wind,
dead roses melt.

Mountains fall
to the ground,
dead roses melt.

Rain falls to
the earth from the
weeping of a thousand gods.

Thunder breaks the
sky like bullet
crushing bone.
