60 Years From Now Poem by Roxy Gonro

60 Years From Now

Rating: 5.0

In today's world, we do everything to prevent growing old.
But we don't realize how special it is to grow old with someone.
To know you'll have a hand to hold while you rock back and forth in a rocking chair 60 years from now.
To know you'll still have someone to hold you tight even when your old and grey 60 years from now.
To know you'll be able to wake up every morning and lean over to see the face of your bestfriend, your soulmate,60 years from now.
But most of all,
To know you'll always be loved, and your love is still stronger than life for you've been able to overcome all of its obstacles,
60 years from now.

Ah! A recipe for old age and a good one at that. This is not really called a poem. It is called an essay and it is an outstanding essay at that. Thoughts beyond your age—it sure is. May you always feel that way. Adeline

It is amazing that someone your age could foresee a love that is endless. In todays age, we are never sure of what our love ones will do next. Nicely and well express thought through poetry. jona
