7 Haiku Poem by kara towe

7 Haiku

A fog consumes the wood.
The mind becomes confused.
Seek the path of the heart.

Listen closely to the stream.
Listen to the birds that sing.
Nature brings enlightenment.

Self-pity is useless.
Actions speak louder than words.
Repent and walk in grace.

Forgiveness is freedom.
Anger leads to death.
Take the path less traveled.

Sand is unstable.
It slides under rock.
Rock on rock builds a fortress.

Compassion brings forth action.
Caring for others gives purpose.
Happiness is found above.

A good life is simple.
Appreciate what you have.
Gratitude brings joy.
