7 Little Crows (Part 5 Of 8) 'Regret' Poem by Rikki Giovani

The fifth is a story of Regret.
Mike had started to feel remorseful about the way he had treated Ronnie.
He wanted to make it up to him.
He decided to try to go and talk to Ronnie.
He had noticed that Ronnie had started to go to his favorite cafe again.
He decided he would talk to him there.
On the day that he was going to go talk to him he noticed a guy go up and sit at Ronnie's table.
Without understanding why a surge of hatred and anger rose up within him.
He decided he would play it out and see where this new friendship would lead.
He began to notice that Ronnie was falling in love with this new guy.
He realized that if he couldn't have Ronnie than no one would.
He was listening at the door when he heard Ronnie and the new guy exchange 'I love you's.'
He became furious and headed back to his car.
He waited a few minutes then headed back to the house.
